"The user name or password is incorrect" when in fact it's correct - Robotiq

Hi team,

I’ve been trying to install the unattended robot but to no avail.

I keep getting this error at the end of the installation wizard:

1: The username or password is incorrect Please read instructions how to check correct uesrname and password: <link>

What am I missing? I did whoami to get the username, and I manually typed in the password (no copy pasting). I also tested that I am able to do the runas command to confirm that it works.

Hi,
Do you have a domain set with your username? Also, is it possible that your password contains a “;” character? According to the documentation, that character might not be allowed.

And I didn’t quite understand — what does the command line return when you check the username (with the domain) and password?

Hi NewUser,

I did the runas /noprofile /user:username cmd

I managed to install the robot after following your suggestion, but I face another issue now:

Retrieving /c query session output
Query session SESSIONNAME USERNAME ID STATE TYPE DEVICE >services 0 Disc console 1 Conn <redacted> 65536 Listen rdp-tcp 65537 Listen
Retrieving /c query session administrator output
Query session with username: administrator
Query session with username administrator does not exist.
User session is not active.

I tried to restart the EC2 instance, but it still gives me the same error.
